Codfish “À Lagareiro”
Ingredients (4 servings):
- 2 pieces of codfish fillet
- 200ml of olive oil
- 4 cloves of garlic
- 1 small potato with peel
- Salt to taste
- Pepper to taste
- 400g of savoy cabbage
This popular Portuguese dish is very easy to make if you follow this simple recipe.
1. Place the fully defrosted codfish fillet in a very hot grill and sear it. Afterwards, place it in the oven at 100°C with olive oil and laminated garlic for 8 minutes.
2. Wash the potatoes, pat them dry and place them in a baking tray with salt. Bake them for 45 minutes at 160°C.
3. Boil the cabbage in water with salt and a drizzle of olive oil.
